Delicato™ Butter Lettuce Wraps

These Asian-inspired wraps are gluten-free and packed full of spicy flavor.
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 Windset Farms™ Gusto™ Hot Pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 3 Tbsp. fish sauce*
- 3 Tbsp. sweet chilli sauce*
- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh mint, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 cup salted peanuts, chopped
- 1 head Windset Farms™ Delicato™ Butter Lettuce, washed and leaves separated
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix pork, beef, garlic, kosher salt, shallots and Gusto™ pepper.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together lime juice, fish sauce and sweet chilli sauce.
- In a skillet, heat canola oil over medium/high heat. Add pork mixture and cook until no pink remains (about 8 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in lime juice mixture. Let stand for 5 minutes and stir in fresh herbs. Top with chopped peanuts and serve with Delicato™ butter lettuce leaves for wrapping.
