Dietitian Nanci Guest

Allow us to present Nanci Guest, MSc, our new Windset Registered Dietitian. Nanci is also a certified personal trainer and has worked in the field of health and fitness for 15 years. She will be putting us through our paces where our fitness and nutrition is concerned. Gulp.

Nanci is an NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, she was the Director of Sport Nutrition for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, and she is a current contributor to online and magazine publications such as Oxygen, Chatelaine, Shape, Fitness Trainer Canada and Impact. She also lectures across Canada and contributes to international scientific meetings as an expert in sport nutrition.

You can still get your “rainbow” of nutrients in winter, but sometimes it’s tough to know what’s in season. It’s always best to eat seasonal produce as this will be your freshest, most nutrient-packed choice. But, seasonal doesn’t mean you have to forgo your summer favourites. Produce like tomatoes and cucumbers can be grown locally, and year-round with greenhouses – like ours, for instance.
