Executive Chef, Dana Reinhardt

Allow us to introduce you to our Executive Chef, Dana Reinhardt.

Dana loves food as much as we do...and she loves working with the produce we grow. But this section is not about us, it's about her...and the fabulous recipes she has developed that feature the taste and texture benefits of Windset produce.

Dana is no stranger to the kitchen. She began her career in the hospitality industry at the age of 11, spinning cotton candy and selling corn dogs at the Pacific National Exposition. Visitors to BC's Okanagan Valley will remember her Cellar Door Restaurant at Sumac Ridge Winery.

Leaving the Okanagan, Dana headed to London, England for a stint at the River Café. Back in Vancouver, she worked at Raincity Grill and Lumiere before opening CRU in 2004. CRU went on to win accolades and was recognized as one of the Best New Restaurants in Canada, as awarded by Enroute Magazine. CRU offered a unique wine and food pairing menu that has since been widely adopted.
